Wendy-Marie Martin holds a BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC and an MFA in Playwriting from the Playwrights Lab at Hollins University and is currently pursuing her PhD as a scholar/artist in Interdisciplinary Arts & Theatre. Wendy-Marie has taught, directed and performed in Europe and the U.S. Her short plays have been produced in Germany, Japan, Ireland, The Netherlands, Australia, and the U.S and published by YouthPLAYS, Theatrefolk, Polychoron Press and Smith & Krauss.

Wendy-Marie is the creator and Executive Producer of The Red Eye 10s International Play Festival and on the board of directors for the International Centre for Women Playwrights. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, TCG, the Playwrights’ Center, ICWP among others.
