Liesl “Lee” Ehmke has a BA in Theatre from Principia College and is an MFA candidate in the Playwright’s Lab at Hollins University with a concentration in Dramaturgy. She is a playwright, director, teacher, actor, and dramaturge. Her ten-minute play Behind My Smile has been published in a collection put together by Taylor Gruenloh, Artistic Director of St. Louis’s Tesseract Theatre. Her ten-minute play Internal Clock was produced by the Sundown Collaborative Theatre for their Short Works Festival in August 2015. Her ten-minute play Breakup Alley is a finalist for Theatre LILA for possible production in October 2015, and she has had a reading of her one-act play And Loss is Gain in November 2014 at the Mill Mountain Theatre.
