Nicole B. Adkins

Nicole B. Adkins, Artistic Associate at YouthPLAYS, has worked with youth theatres for 16 years. She studied Theatre at the University of Central Oklahoma and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and holds a Master’s degree in Children’s Literature from Hollins University. Her plays have been performed at theatres, schools and museums, including Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, NC; Creative Drama Children’s Theatre in Winston-Salem, NC; Studio Roanoke, VA; Young Actor’s Studio of Los Angeles; and the American International School in Guanghzou, China. Awards include the 2011 Waldo M. and Grace C. Bonderman Award and recognition in the 2012 Beverly Hills Theatre Guild Marilyn Hall competition. A member of The Dramatists Guild of America, Inc., TYA/USA, and Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, Adkins has taught playwriting classes and workshops at Hollins University, Utah State University, and numerous other schools and organizations.
