BECKY BAXTER, An intelligent, excitable high school freshman. Completely obsessed with forensic cop shows and with science. She’s wearing hospital scrubs.

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR, A no-nonsense educator who takes the job seriously — cares about kids, but still values the rules.

MRS. BAXTER, Becky’s trendy, well-coiffed single mother. Wants what’s best for her daughter, but doesn’t always know how to relate to her.
