The Wedding

Written by J. Weintraub

In this comedy a family is en route to a wedding, which — because of the machinations of the Father and Daughter, and much to the dismay of the Mother — they never reach. Nevertheless it is a comedy!

FATHER,  in  his late  forties  or early  fifties.

MOTHER, in her mid-forties,  a  few years younger than the Father.

DAUGHTER,  a  teenager.

GRANDMOTHER, in her seventies, frail both in body and mind.

WAITRESS, middle-aged,  but  younger than  the  above couple  (This  role could  also  be played  by  a male  actor,  as a  WAITER,  but a  waitress  is preferable.)
